CURRENT PRESERVATION PROJECTS

  • THE SHAW HOUSE ON BAUER'S FARM:  This farmhouse associated with the war of 1812 (Also known as "Shaw's Discover") was placed on the Baltimore County Final Landmarks List, voted by County Council March 21, 2005.
  • THE OLD BARN ON BAUER'S FARM:  This barn sits 40 feet away from the Shaw House, it is more than twice the size of, and was built prior to, the Shaw House.  We are currently attempting to preserve it with the possibility of community use for community meetings and maybe a visitor or information center.
